For nearly 15 years now, the three members of The Langan Band have been carving out their own lawlessly virtuosic path of sound; rampaging through the boundaries of conventional genre and cavorting into the territories of wild abandon, purest intimacy, and unconditional musical elation.
The trio were initially brought together by a deep respect of traditional song and music, yet they discovered a mutual love of the evisceration and regeneration of these pieces into provocative and fascinating new compositions, as was recognised by the band winning the prestigious Danny Kyle Award at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections Festival at the start of their journey together. This sound and process went on to inform the band’s now mostly original repertoire, and has resulted in a musical experience quite unlike any other.

Six piece Rock band from the North of Scotland. Formed in 2008 Emerald Sunday began life as a cover band performing a full set of covers and gigging the local pub circuit. Gradually they started filtering in original material until there setlist was 90% original material.

They’ve been championed by Scotland On Sunday, secured airplay via Amazing Radio, Mearns FM, Pure Beat FM, Feck Radio and have sold out shows in Aberdeen, including a tour with youth music project Hit The Road. The group released their debut single Fashionably Late and their excellent debut EP titled The Good Ones Are Coming Out Soon last year. They headline Cafe Drummonds in Aberdeen on 7 June 2024.

Scottish based U2 Tribute Band
Formed in 1998, it’s always been about the authenticity of sound for W2. If you hear it at a W2 show, it’s because you’d hear it at a U2 show. If it’s not authentic, it doesn’t make the cut.
Simple as that.
W2 specialise in a core cannon of classic U2 songs, including With or Without You, Where the Street Have No Name and Pride (In the Name of Love). They also deliver on fan favourites, with rarities like Gloria, Exit and One Tree Hill sprinkled throughout the set.
